We had a great trip with two couples and one baby! Lots of fun outdoors activities nearby. Hot tub unfortunately wasn’t working when we got in but the host was helpful to get that fixed for our second day and was kind enough to give a partial refund since that wasn’t available for our stay which was much appreciated. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.
We keep coming back to this little place over and over. Its a private little hide away, in walking distance to the beach and all the attractions in town which we love. In spite of it being a little dated and not fancy we always stayed here do to the affordable price. Recent management change almost doubled the price which is a bid of a deterrent for us, but the new management was very helpful when we had a problem with the tv and they were very friendly.
My family really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and open with enough room for the 9 of us to be comfortable. My sisters spent some quality time in the hot tub, and my sons put in some work on the grill. There’s a beach right around the corner, or it’s a short little jaunt down to the main part of town. Taffy and kite flying were highlights for me. We had a great time and the hosts were friendly and quick to respond with everything we needed.
Thank you very much, your place was excellent. You made our marriage weekend easier by giving us an extra place where people could stay in reliable comfort in a well located neighborhood close to, of course, Cafe Piccolino! The only comment I heard was that I believe there was no Kleenex in the house.
This is a really beautiful spot, and it’s a large, comfortable space. The sauna is really lovely, and the kitchen is well appointed. we found some old and dirty kitchenware, but the host was responsive when I mentioned it, and overall it was a really nice space. we were able to go beachcombing with the provided rubber boots, and take a lovely walk nearby.
The place was so great for our stay! We were visiting North Cascades National Park and the place was a good location to get to & from the park. 3 bedrooms worked well since we were a group of 3 couples. Upstairs master bedroom was super spacious and bathroom is cool. Living room has a view of Mount Baker which was gorgeous.
