Great location! The place was spacious and perfect for a few days spent in Mount Rainier national park and the surrounding area! We paid for early check in and arrived to find the place had not been cleaned, but the hosts were extremely responsive and made it right immediately. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

This place was perfect. Leavenworth is literally out the front door. We were able to go out and enjoy the beautiful village, walk to the river, and take in the scenery right from the front door. The full sized garage for parking was also a plus.
The home had everything we needed. It was cozy and fun for relaxing evenings after exploring all day.
Overall this place is 10 out of 10. Being able to walk around the village swing back by the house and then back out again was great. I would 100 percent book this location again.

Property was well maintained. Check in was initially a challenge as our passcode did not work but the management company responded promptly with a solution. Beds are the most comfortable I’ve encountered in any airbnb. Beach is beautiful extremely accessible. Neighborhood is quiet many of the properties look unoccupied or to be vacation rentals. I would stay here again in the future.
We would definitely stay here again in the future. Very spacious and clutter free. Great backyard. We had our little fur baby and he enjoyed his time out back. The neighborhood was quiet and there was space to park in the alley way or out in the front of the house (street parking). Had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms too.
Definitely on the higher end of what I’ve paid for an Airbnb, but it was worth it. Right next to the ferry launch and the boat works, so there’s a lot of people and restaurants right around it, but the locked access stairway makes it feel very private.
My only downside was the parking. Expect to pay $18 a day to park in the garage. It may be possible to ask the restaurant manager to park a motorcycle under the walkway next to employee parking, but I wouldn’t count on it.
The property itself was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly the kind of waterfront setting we were hoping for. It was also close to Hamma Hamma. We genuinely enjoyed most of our stay and especially appreciated the outdoor space and fire pit. Unfortunately, our final evening was significantly disrupted when septic service took place directly beside the main outdoor area during sunset. The noise, equipment, backup alarms, and odor made the space unusable for roughly an hour during one of only two evenings we had at the property.
What was most disappointing was the follow-up. I made several attempts to resolve the issue directly with the host, but after repeated promises of an update, I ultimately had to involve Airbnb, which provided a partial refund. Overall, it is a lovely property, but clearer advance communication and a more responsive approach when problems arise would have made this a five-star stay.
Our family had a delightful lake getaway here. The hosts had great communication. The deck was amazing with incredible views and our 1yr old LOVED going inside and outside all day. The heated kitchen floors were incredible, kitchen fully stocked, along with the rest of the house. We felt cozy as soon as we entered! We were greeted with a handful of wildlife there and truly loved every moment spent there. Would love to return soon!
I had a wonderful stay here. Communication was impeccable, any questions were swiftly attended to throughout the stay. Convenient location in Packwood, close to the stores/food options while removed enough from the main road to be quiet. Clean home, with reasonable amenities and exactly as described. Would stay again if I return to the area.
Such a lovely stay for our 4-night getaway! Perfect combination of A-frame cabin PNW vibes, gorgeous sunset views over the water, spacious and comfortable interiors, luxury kitchen appliances and outdoor grill, direct water access, numerous outdoor seating relaxation options, seal+bird watching, and the sweetest family of deer that the kind neighbors introduced us to. If you’re looking for a remote cabin in the middle of the woods, this isn’t it – the neighbors on both sides are relatively nearby (and very friendly)
The host was responsive and helpful too! The only minor feedback I have is that the guide had so many buttons I felt it was a bit tedious to click through each one to make sure I got all the info – I know it helps keep info organized by category, but I personally prefer reading everything all in one page
Overall though really excited to stay with Recreation Stays again – whether it’s this Shelton cabin or another I saw on their website. Thanks for having us!
This was a peaceful cabin in the woods close to Mt Rainier and Crystal Mountain. There are a few houses in the neighborhood but it’s very quiet. The cabin was clean with available laundry and an ample kitchen. Loved the stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. All the arrival and departure instructions were clear. We’d definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
We had a wonderful stay at the condominium in Bremerton. Was not sure how quite it would be so close to the ferry terminal but it was super quite and comfortable. We loved the easy access to restaurants. Parking was the only concern we had but quickly found easy and safe parking close by. We would definitely stay again when we’re in town!
I had a very comfortable stay here. It was so nice being just a couple minutes from the ferry terminal and just steps from great restaurant, museum, and entertainment venues. Adam was responsive and helpful during my stay. I’ll keep this location on my list for the next time I’m in the Bremerton area.
